Do you remember when the Two Ronnies visited West Harrow Allotments in the 80's?

Were you there? or was someone you know there?

Yes, in 1980 both Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett were on the West Harrow Allotments filming some sketches for their BBC television series - The Two Ronnies.

Take a look at the You Tube video clip of them discussing wallpaper, clearly Harrow on The Hill is in the background. Maybe it is not as remembered as their classic "four candles" sketch but it is still very funny.

Ronnie Barker was a Harrow resident and lived at Elmdene, Church Lane, Pinner for many years before he retired. Did he know these allotments well?
